HI, I’M SARAH,
Your resident Northern Michigan lover and adventure photographer. I fell in love with photography because of need to document and preserve what’s around us. I studied documentary photography at U of M, and now help couples seal in their memories through photographs. I always have my favorite locations saved, and genuinely love that I’m able to live my daydream, and connect with adventurous souls through my work.
I’m not afraid to run or climb to get the best angle, get into the water, or spend the extra time it takes to create photographs that tell your story. Whether you’re having an intimate ceremony on the lakeshore, or throwing a wild dance party in an orchard, I’ll document your connection and intimacy while having a hell of a good time!

1. INQUIRE
We'll set up a time to chat, either in person or virtually, where you can share your love story, your vision, and your dreams for your special day.
2. LET’S CHAT
Once we decide we’re a good fit for each other, you can officially book by signing a simple agreement and putting down a deposit. This can be done online and is super easy!
3. BOOK
I’m not just your photographer, but I’m here as your planning consultant, location expert, and guide. I’ll walk you through everything!
4. PLANNING
This is where the magic happens! And obviously, the part where you get your photos taken.
5. SEESSION
I will send you a sneak peek of your photos within 48hours of our time together. I’m always so excited to go through them, and I love having clients relieve their memories and share them with loved ones.
6. SNEAK PEEK
Once you receive your full gallery, you can order prints and other heirloom items. Every gallery is online, and you can download high res files or share them with your family.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

I am married (you can see my husband and I together in the video above), and have two kiddos. We have three dogs (I know, who is crazy enough to have 3 dogs!) named Luna, Nahla, and Ziggy. They are insane, but keep me active, and make us a family!

I’m from Northern Michigan, but I’ve have studied abroad in England, Italy, and am an aspiring Costa Rica snowbird.

My husband and I are remodeling an 1896 house in downtown Traverse City. It’s been frustrating, slow at times, but totally worth all the dust and noise (he might say otherwise sometimes!).

I’m going on 15 years of not eating animals, and can tell you all the best spots for vegan food. I’m also a lover of all things creative and really enjoying working with my hands and anything with a project.
